The China Four Seasons Club (CFSC) and the China Village Volunteer Fire Department (CVVFD) are excited to announce the 6th Annual China Lake Ice Fishing Derby, scheduled for Sunday, February 16, 2025. This event has become a cherished tradition, bringing together our community to enjoy the beauty of China Lake in winter while fostering fellowship and fun.

The Ice Fishing Derby is a cornerstone of the larger “China Ice Days” Winter Festival, which showcases the best of our town with activities managed by local organizations. From skating and bonfires to cornhole tournaments and special dinners, the festival highlights the many incredible resources and talents our town has to offer. Please check our website and Facebook page often for more detailed and updated information.

We will continue to limit Sunday’s fishing to China Lake. Tickets will be on sale at many local stores, and bait dealers, and available through members of the China Four Seasons Club and the CVVFD. Each ticket also serves as a raffle ticket to win many of our door prizes donated by local businesses and Fishing Derby Sponsors.

The ticket prices have remained unchanged; $5 each or 3 for $10.

This event is only possible thanks to the generous support of community members and local businesses.
